Beat lays out a film’s beats on a visual board, then lets each one carry an overhead Set Plan — cameras placed by real focal length, lighting rigs like softbox and fresnel, all 48 symbols at real-world scale (a car is 4.5 metres, a chair half a metre). Link a shot to a beat and its duration, cast, and location flow through to a printed call sheet. It’s free forever, says developer João Lutz, funded by his own $99-a-year Apple developer account.
